Ruta Kaskeleviciute
Ruta Kaskeleviciute is a research associate at the Department of Media and Communication at LMU Munich since April 2025. She is part of the research unit of media use and effects led by Prof. Dr. Anna Sophie Kümpel. From 2019 to 2025 • she was a researcher at the University of Vienna. She completed her PhD in April 2024 (dissertation entitled Perceptions and Effects of Mediated Terrorism: An Intergroup Approach). From June 2024 to March 2025 • she worked within the European Union-funded project Unveiling Emotional Dimensions of Politics to Foster European Democracy (ENCODE).
